Superstition Energy Storage (Superstition) is ideally located on an industrially zoned parcel in the Town of Gilbert, Arizona, immediately adjacent to the critically important, existing 230kV Corbell Substation. The 90 MW / 360 MWh battery storage facility will provide capacity and energy services to the Salt River Project (SRP) electrical grid in southeast Phoenix, enhancing grid reliability and accelerating the integration of readily available, domestically produced renewable energy sources in the sunny southwestern United States.
